Few days ago I published a post in this blog on how to use thesaurus in ms word 2007/2010. My today topic is auto correction in ms word 2007/2010/2013. Auto correction in ms word is an important option. It may save a huge time and work. This option had been added from Microsoft word 6.0. However, using this option you can correct the wrong automatically during typing. Suppose, if you have set that the first word in every sentence will be in capital letter. In this case, if you type a word 'learn'. It will be 'Learn' automatically.

1. At first, open a ms word file and click Word Option.
2. Click Proofing and
3. Then click Auto Correct Options.
Now Read the following and set as you needs.
Correct two initial capitals: If you type two word capital, it will create the 2nd word small. Such as, if you write 'EDucation', it will create 'Education' automatically.
Capitalize first letter of sentence: If you select this option, the first letter of each sentence will in capital letter. Such as, 'the nation.... ' will be 'The nation.....'
Capitalize names of days: If you select this option, the first letter of day's names will automatically be capital letter. Such as, 'friday' will be 'Friday'.
Correct accidental usage of caps lock key: If you select this option, it will type normally in case of pressing caps lock key.
Replace text as you type: You may do wrong in during typing. Such as, you may write don;t in lieu of don't. To avoid such kind of error, you can keep select this option. For this, you have to type don;t in Replace option and don't in With option.
Auto correction in ms word 2010
As other ms word versions, ms word 2010 has auto correction feature. It is very easy and comfortable to use. Auto correction location in ms word 2010 is something different from ms word 2007. Follow the following tutorial to know how to use auto correction in ms word 2010.
1. At first, click on the File tab that is in the left side of Microsoft word document box.
2. Then click on the option button. After clicking on the option tab, a new dialogue box will appear on the screen.
3. Then click on the Proofing option that is also available in the left side of new dialogue box.
4. Then click on the Auto Correction Option.

5. After clicking on the Auto correction option, anew dialogue box will appear on the screen. Then you have to select the auto correction options that you want to set. The auto corrections will be performed according to your setting. To set the options, you have to mark tick in the left side of the options.
Which option works which task are described in above. For this reason, I have not described these here again.
Auto correction in ms word 2013
The auto correction feature in ms word 2013 is something different from the auto correction feature 2007 and 2010. Now learn about the auto correction feature in ms word 2013.
1. To set/find auto correction option in ms word 2013, at first, click on Menus tab that is in the left side of the ms word 2013 dialogue box.
2. Then click on the tools tab.

3. Then click on the Auto Correction Options that is in the drop down menu in the dialogue box.
